Come In, Come In…

I’m so happy you’ve stopped by my little corner of the World Wide Web 🙂  This page is a bit about me, as a writer and as a person…here goes!

I write stories filled with Hope, Home, and Happily Ever After. The kind of hope that leads hearts to finding their way home to a sweet, lasting happily ever after.  The hope that knows real love truly conquers all.

You know what most inspires me? Everyday Life. Everyday life where ordinary people are making happily ever after happen one tiny moment at a time. The little moments, the caretaking of each other, that’s where it all happens.

As a Kentucky girl transplanted in the Hoosier state of Indiana, I truly, deeply believe home is wherever real love thrives–in the arms of the One You Love, the person you’ll move Heaven and Earth to see happy.

Dum Spiro, Spero-- While I Breathe, I

My life’s motto is Dum Spiro, Spero–While I Breathe, I Hope.  I believe that no matter what, there is always, always hope. Hope is the key to everything.

When not writing,  I can often be found porch sitting during the warmer weather months, with a book in hand, sometimes thinking about taking a walk. During those *shudder* colder months, I hibernate under a blanket, next to m’Hero as much as possible! This gal does not do cold well at all *shudderagain*

Besides reading and writing stories, I enjoy road trips, taking pictures and, above all, spending time with my own Hero and two young adult children. How I’ve gone from baby boot camp with two babies  to this rich life with two young adults, I’ll never know–time truly flies!

My first novel SHADES OF BLUE ignited my fire for writing fiction–I’d love for you to check it out. Here’s what some reviewers are saying about Gabe & Charlie’s story.

BRIDGES OF STARLIGHT (click here for a teaser page that will tell you all about it!) is set on the same island yet easily a stand-alone story.

My third novel, BREATH OF HOPE, is a stand alone yet it’s the origin story of Shades of Blue’s secondary couple, Nash & Jill.

Do pop over to Facebook and chat with me from time to time–I love hearing from readers!
